Soccer Recap: Firth Starts off Right with Win over Snake River

Firth had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the Snake River Panthers a 2-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for Firth in their matchups with Snake River: they've now won seven in a row.

Aiden Boyd and Weston Bame scored both of Firth's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Looking ahead, Firth will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against American Falls at 6:00 p.m. As for Snake River, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 13-2 loss against South Fremont on the 26th.
