Snow Canyon was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Stansbury Stallions 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Snow Canyon took Stansbury into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-16, 25-18, 22-25, 15-9.

Tali Tupe paced Snow Canyon's offense, picking up 39 kills. Tupe got some help from Solaya Barker-Winton and her 45 assists. Tupe also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Braylee Chesley, racking up five apiece.

Snow Canyon's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Stansbury, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Snow Canyon will face off against Crimson Cliffs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stansbury, they will square off against Ridgeline at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
