St. Augustine Prep strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Hammonton Blue Devils 13-5. The result was nothing new for the Hermits, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Marco Christopher, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Alex Bersani was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

St. Augustine Prep pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Hammonton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coming up, St. Augustine Prep will head out to take on Holy Ghost Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hammonton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Atlantic County Institute of Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
