Basketball Recap: Kyler Pollistrini's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Oak Grove over Berry

It was a proper cat-fight when Oak Grove challenged Berry on Tuesday. The matchup between the Oak Grove Tigers and the Berry Wildcats didn't end well, with the Oak Grove Tigers falling 59-42. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oak Grove lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kyler Pollistrini, who posted ten points.

Jordan Jackson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Berry, dropping a triple-double on 24 points, 15 rebounds, and ten blocks. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down 12 or more in the last three games he's played. Jayden Smith was another key player, going 5 for 11 on his way to 12 points and four steals.

Oak Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16-1. As for Berry, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Oak Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-56 loss against Hanceville on the 16th. As for Berry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-49 win against Lynn on the 16th.
