Basketball Recap: Lutheran North Mustangs vs. Richard Pioneers
Lutheran North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 78-50 defeat at the hands of the Richard Pioneers. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Pioneers from their previous meeting back in January.

Defeat or not, Lutheran North got some senior leadership from Benjamin Scheuher and Cameron Head. Scheuher went 6 of 13 en route to 19 points, while Head almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. The matchup was Scheuher's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jack McMahon, who posted eight points.
Lutheran North's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Richard, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
