Softball Recap: Southeast Warren Comes Up Short

Southeast Warren entered their game against Grinnell on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warhawks came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-2. If the Warhawks were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in June of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Southeast Warren's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Grinnell, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeast Warren will welcome Murray at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grinnell, they will challenge Clear Creek-Amana at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers are on a nine-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), the Clippers a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
