Volleyball Game Preview: Lakeway Christian Academy Lions vs. Collegedale Academy Collegedale Eagle

The Lakeway Christian Academy Lions will take on the Collegedale Academy Collegedale Eagle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeway Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Saturday. Lakeway Christian Academy put the hurt on Concord Christian with a sharp 3-0 win.

Lakeway Christian Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8, 25-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakeway Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carley Cameron, who had 12 digs and five assists. Essie Jett was another key player, getting ten digs.

Meanwhile, Collegedale Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Boyd-Buchanan on Monday and fell 3-2. The Collegedale Eagle have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lakeway Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Collegedale Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Lakeway Christian Academy took their victory against Collegedale Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Collegedale Eagle have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
