Soccer Game Preview: University Liggett vs. Gabriel Richard

The University Liggett Knights will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against the Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. University Liggett's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Thursday, University Liggett and Bishop Foley finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. That draw made it three straight for University Liggett.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gabriel Richard). Their defense stepped up to hand Lutheran North a 4-0 shutout on Friday. Considering Gabriel Richard's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

University Liggett's draw makes their record 0-0-3 this season. As for Gabriel Richard, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
