Mead waltzed into their game on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Everything went their way against the Fairview Knights as they made off with a 50-26 victory. With the Mavericks ahead 37-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Mead's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elena Gomez, who posted eight points and five steals. Gomez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi Clark, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Mead was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fairview only racked up five assists.

Chloe Hickory and Lucy Michaels certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Hickory put up 12 points, while Michaels earned two points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Mead's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2. As for Fairview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.

Mead will take on Skyline at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Mead is facing Skyline at the right time seeing as Skyline is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. Fairview has already played their next contest (against Erie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
