After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Orosi, Madera South was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Delhi Hawks by a score of 24-13. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Stallions were the better team in the second half.

Camaron Hamiton had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 70 yards and two scores. Jairo Parra helped out on the ground, rushing for 86 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Madera South was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 252 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Delhi only rushed for 151 rushing yards.

Despite the defeat, Delhi had strong showings from Bryan Martinez, who rushed for 76 yards and one TD, and Aden Jasso, who rushed for 37 yards and one touchdown.
