They fell just short of the Cornerstone Christian Eagles by a score of 65-62 on Friday. The close matchup was extra heartbreaking for Trinity Christian Homeschool, who almost overcame a 25 point deficit.
Despite the defeat, Trinity Christian Homeschool had strong showings from Jacob Peoples, who rushed for 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries, and Gage Davis, who gained 153 total yards and two touchdowns.
