Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Avery Palmer and Tala Wolfe Lead Timber Creek to Victory

Timber Creek won the last time they faced Keller Central and Lillian Day did her part to make sure it happened again. The Falcons blew past the Chargers 3-0 on Friday for which the team can thank Day, who had 23 assists and eight digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Timber Creek not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Keller Central between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-13.

Timber Creek was led to victory by Tala Wolfe and Avery Palmer. Wolfe had 12 assists and three digs, while Palmer had six digs. Lexi Caprio also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Timber Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Keller Central lost, don't look at Addyson Ray. Despite the final result, she had 15 assists and ten digs.

The victory made it two in a row for Timber Creek and bumps their season record up to 15-14. As for Keller Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-17 record this season.
