Cosby entered their tilt with Jellico on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Jellico Blue Devils 49-0 at home. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 30 points or more this season.

Cosby found their leader in underclassman Matthew Mcmahan, who threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 8-for-8 passing, and also rushed for 37 yards. Mcmahan's posted a season-high passer rating of 177.1. Mason Williams also helped with two touchdowns in total.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Cosby's defense and their three sacks. Williams was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up twohimself.

Cosby's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Jellico, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Cloudland the next time they take the field. Jellico will host Cloudland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Cosby will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.
