Soccer Game Preview: Homestead vs. South Miami

The Homestead Broncos will square off against the South Miami Cobras at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Homestead is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over Edison on Friday. Maick Simon was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, South Miami can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They beat Westland Hialeah by a goal, winning 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Cobras were the better team in the second half.

The win made it two in a row for Homestead and bumps their season record up to 7-1-3. As for South Miami, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8-1.

Everything went Homestead's way against South Miami when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as Homestead made off with an 8-0 win. Does Homestead have another victory up their sleeve, or will South Miami turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
