Basketball Recap: Junction Takes a Loss

After flying high against Miles last Tuesday, Junction came back down to earth. The Junction Eagles had to suffer through a 77-46 loss at the hands of the Goldthwaite Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for Junction in their matchups with Goldthwaite: they've now lost seven in a row.

Junction's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3. As for Goldthwaite, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Junction will take on Navasota in a tournament on Friday. As for Goldthwaite, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Harper at 3:45 p.m. on December 31st.
