Baseball Recap: Shadow Ridge Comes Up Short

Shadow Ridge lost against Centennial back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Shadow Ridge lost 14-4 to Centennial. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shadow Ridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marco Montesanti, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Samuel Stahl also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Shadow Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

While Shadow Ridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
