Fall Creek has gone a perfect 8-0 against Cadott recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Crickets will welcome the Hornets at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Fall Creek 3.8, Cadott 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Tuesday, Fall Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Stanley-Boyd, taking the game 8-3. The victory continues a trend for the Crickets in their matchups with the Orioles: they've now won eight in a row.

While Cadott didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Regis by a score of 9-4 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

The team relied heavily on Rilei Weeks, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Kaylee Reineke was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Weeks wasn't the only one making solid contact: Cadott kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive games.

Cadott's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Fall Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Fall Creek took their win against Cadott in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-3 score. Will the Crickets repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
