Volleyball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia's tournament run continued when they took on Little River Academy on Saturday. The Roughnecks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bumblebees. The Roughnecks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ayvah Fields paced Columbia's offense, picking up two kills. Fields got some help from Jolee McDonald and her two assists.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Little River Academy, they moved to 2-8 with that win, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Columbia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Palestine on the 23rd. As for Little River Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
