Volleyball Recap: Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Takes a Loss

Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Luverne Cardinals.

Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Luverne, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton on the 3rd. As for Luverne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Lakeview on the 4th.
