Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cienega). They won by a run and slipped past the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts 9-8. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Thunderbolts recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

ZAK VASQUEZ was excellent, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double. TRISTAN CRUZ also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

The win got Cienega back to even at 3-3. As for Mica Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Coming up, Cienega will be taking part in a tournament against Rincon/University at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rincon/University has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.44 runs per game on average), something Cienega will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Mica Mountain, they will take on Flagstaff in a tournament on Thursday.
