The Eagle River Wolves lost against the South Anchorage Wolverines back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Eagle River's rough 49-27 defeat to the Wolverines might stick with them for a while.
Eagle River's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brooklyn Rollman, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Darby Buyse who almost dropped a double-double on 13 rebounds and nine steals. Buyse hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games.
Eagle River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for South Anchorage, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Eagle River will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West Anchorage is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for South Anchorage, they will head out on the road to challenge the Golden Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bartlett is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
