Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sunnybrook Christian walked away with it. They walked away with a 51-38 win over the Texas Christian Tigers on Friday. The Lions are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.

It was another big night for Gabe Minica, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 23 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 13 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jay Williams, who went 6-for-15 en route to 15 points.

Sunnybrook Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in five consecutive contests.

Sunnybrook Christian's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Texas Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-12.

Sunnybrook Christian has already played their next match, a 42-32 win against Annapolis Christian Academy on the 22nd. Texas Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
