Recap: Hallsville Indians vs. Moberly Spartans

The Hallsville Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 25 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Moberly with a sharp 67-42 victory on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for Hallsville as they're now sitting on four straight.

Moberly's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason Bivins, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kish Jacobs jr, who scored ten points.

Hallsville's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for Moberly, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Hallsville will be playing at home against California at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. California will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Hallsville is ranked 38th). Moberly's road trip will continue as they head out to face Harrisburg at 5:30 p.m. on January 9th.
