Volleyball Recap: Holcomb Longhorns vs. Cimarron Bluejays

Holcomb came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged the Cimarron Bluejays out 2-1. The Longhorns have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bluejays, too.

Holcomb found their leader in underclassman Delilah Galliart, who had 12 digs and three aces. With that strong performance, Galliart is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.

Holcomb was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cimarron only served five.

Despite the loss, Cimarron still got an impressive performance from Kynlee Frink, who had nine digs.

Holcomb has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Cimarron, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6.
