Flag Football Game Preview: Campo Verde Coyotes vs. Mountain View Toros

Two dominant signal callers in Izzy Pap and TIERAH METCALF are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Campo Verde Coyotes will be taking part in a tournament against the Mountain View Toros at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Campo Verde is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Red Mountain, who was ranked fourth at the time (Campo Verde was ranked seventh). The Coyotes were the clear victors by a 28-7 margin over the Mountain Lions on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Coyotes sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Meanwhile, Mountain View got themselves on the board against Mesa on Wednesday, but Mesa never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Jackrabbits 39-0. The Toros haven't had any issues with the Jackrabbits recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Campo Verde's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Mountain View, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Campo Verde beat Mountain View 7-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Do the Coyotes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Toros turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
