There's no place like home for Christiansburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 57-51 win over the Carroll County Cavaliers on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-33 back in December of 2024.

Carroll County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Callie Harris, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave Harris a new career-high. Cc Mitchell was another key player, going 6-for-8 to rack up 13 points.

Christiansburg's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Carroll County, they dropped their record down to 2-20 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Christiansburg has already played their next contest, a 71-32 defeat against Blacksburg on the 18th. As for Carroll County, they will host Radford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
