Soccer Recap: St. Augustine Takes a Loss

St. Augustine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Creekside Knights. While losing is never fun, the Yellow Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 377th, while the Knights are ranked ninth).

St. Augustine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Creekside, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-1-2 record this season.

St. Augustine didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Menendez on the 10th. As for Creekside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Tocoi Creek on the 10th.
