The Christian Home Educators Fellowship Patriots will venture away from home to face off against Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Christian Home Educators Fellowship will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Thursday, Christian Home Educators Fellowship made easy work of Pontchartrain Christian HomeSchool and carried off a 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won seven contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
Trevor St. Cyr made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. St. Cyr was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Hank Pearce was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. Christian Home Educators Fellowship is undefeated when Pearce posts two or more runs, but 3-7 otherwise. Luke Babin was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .567 or higher in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 16-1 to Good Samaritan HomeSchool. The loss continues a trend for Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool in their meetings with Good Samaritan HomeSchool: they've now lost five in a row.
Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Tullos, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Tullos also put up a double, which was his first of the season.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship's record now sits at 9-7. As for Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Christian Home Educators Fellowship has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship took their victory against Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 14-1.
