Football Recap: Seymour Extends Winning Streak to Four

Seymour entered their tilt with Waupaca on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 34-14 margin over the Comets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Thunder also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Seymour's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Waupaca, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Seymour is set to square off against their familiar foe Fox Valley Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Thunder 11, the Foxes 11.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Waupaca will face off against rival New London at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
