Softball Recap: North Jackson Comes Up Short

North Jackson lost against Madison County back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chiefs lost 11-2 to the Tigers. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Jackson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allison Ferguson, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Peyton Malley was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

North Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Madison County, their record now sits at 13-9.

North Jackson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 victory against Bell County on the 31st. As for Madison County, they have also already played their next game, an 11-0 win against Kate Duncan Smith DAR on the 1st.
