Basketball Recap: Sauk Centre Has No Trouble Against Foley

Sauk Centre won the last time they faced Foley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters put the hurt on the Foley Falcons with a sharp 69-43 win. Given the Mainstreeters' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Falcons are ranked 267th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sauk Centre has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Foley, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Sauk Centre will face off against Kimball at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Foley has already played their next contest (against Milaca), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
