Volleyball Recap: Harrison Takes a Loss

Harrison lost against McIntosh back in August of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hoyas fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 2-1. While the Hoyas didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Chiefs 25-16 in the first set.

While Harrison ultimately came up short, they really made McIntosh work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 27-25, 15-8.

Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for McIntosh, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Harrison will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mount Paran Christian at 5:30 p.m. As for McIntosh, they will square off against Alpharetta at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
