Basketball Game Preview: Pickerington North Panthers vs. Central Crossing Comets

The Pickerington North Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Central Crossing Comets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Pickerington North's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

If Central Crossing heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Pickerington North took over last week. Pickerington North sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-62 win over Central Catholic on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Central Crossing earned a 47-40 victory over Lincoln on Friday.

Pickerington North's record is now 13-3. As for Central Crossing, their record now sits at 4-10.

Pickerington North strolled past Central Crossing when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 52-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pickerington North since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
