Volleyball Recap: Hammonton Takes a Loss

Hammonton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Collingswood Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Hammonton's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Collingswood, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hammonton will square off against St. Augustine Prep at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Collingswood, they will face off against Cinnaminson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
