Florida has some of the best baseball talent in the nation, especially at the medium school level where nine schools are ranked in the top 25 of the MaxPreps medium school national baseball rankings.

Jacksonville is particularly loaded with three teams from the northeast part of the state making the top 25. Providence comes in at No. 5, while Bishop Kenny and Trinity Christian Academy are tied at No. 20.

Mosley (Lynn Haven) heads the list at No. 1, one spot ahead of Class 6A rival Archbishop McCarthy (Fort Lauderdale).

The medium schools rankings are compiled using the MaxPreps computer rankings. Teams are listed with their overall record and computer rating. Medium schools are those that compete in state enrollment divisions that generally have between 1,000 and 2,000 students.
