Baseball Recap: Elizabethtown Comes Up Short

Elizabethtown fell victim to Larue County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. The game marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Elizabethtown and nudges their season record down to 19-14. As for Larue County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.

Elizabethtown will be playing at home against North Hardin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Larue County, they are taking a road trip to take on Bethlehem at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
