Baseball Recap: Onalaska Comes Up Short

Onalaska was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Napavine Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Loggers have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Rowdy Lyons was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and one double. Tyler Martin also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Onalaska's record is now 2-17. As for Napavine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

While Onalaska had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
