The Clemente Wildcats got the win against the Richards Warriors on Wednesday by a conclusive 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won nine matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Jordan Caraballo was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Semaj Beecham, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

Clemente is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Richards, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Clemente will venture away from home to challenge DePaul College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd. Richards does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
