 On Tuesday, it was a hard-fought  matchup, but the Valliant Bulldogs had to settle for  a  5-4 loss against the Lone Grove Longhorns. Valliant has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Rowen Gee made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Brody Dorries, who  went 1-for-2 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Valliant's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lone Grove, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valliant will take on Claremore at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Claremore will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something Valliant surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lone Grove, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Wister at 12:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Lone Grove: 2.3, Wister: 1) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
