Softball Game Preview: North Sand Mountain Bison vs. Fyffe Red Devils

The North Sand Mountain Bison are taking a road trip to challenge the Fyffe Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Sand Mountain will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

On Tuesday, North Sand Mountain beat Ider 10-7.

Meanwhile, Fyffe was able to grind out a solid victory over Crossville on Tuesday, taking the game 13-10. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

North Sand Mountain now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Fyffe, their victory bumped their record up to 6-15.

North Sand Mountain got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March against Fyffe by a conclusive 14-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bison since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
