Football Recap: Desert Vista Thunder vs. Chaparral Firebirds
Desert Vista lost against Chaparral back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Desert Vista Thunder fell 44-36 to the Chaparral Firebirds. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Max Wagner had an outrageously good game for Chaparral as he threw for 353 yards and five touchdowns. Kash Park did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 154 receiving yards.
Desert Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Chaparral, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.
Desert Vista will welcome Salpointe Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chaparral, they will head out on the road to square off against Pinnacle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
