Basketball Recap: Douglass Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Douglass Academy had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 29-14 victory over Columbia on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 45-31 back in December of 2024.

Douglass Academy's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8. As for Columbia, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Douglass Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 35-15 loss against Percy Sutton on the 4th.
