Football Game Preview: Howell Highlanders vs. East Kentwood Falcons + How To Watch

The Howell Highlanders will face off against the East Kentwood Falcons at 1:02 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Howell comes in on seven and East Kentwood on three.

Howell is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Kalamazoo Central with a sharp 45-20 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Highlanders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Maroon Giants are ranked 199th).

Howell relied on the efforts of Preston Barb, who threw for 48 yards and two touchdowns, and Brody Stack, who picked up 31 receiving yards and one score. Those two passing touchdowns gave Barb a new career-high.

Meanwhile, East Kentwood won against Grand Haven two weeks ago with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Falcons blew past Grand Ledge, posting a 49-15 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won seven contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Howell's record now sits at 9-1. As for East Kentwood, their record is now 8-2.
