Softball Recap: East Marshall Comes Up Short

East Marshall was the 10-1 winner over B-G-M when they last played one another back in June of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 6-3 to the Bears on Saturday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

East Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for B-G-M, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, East Marshall and B-G-M will both be playing Twin Cedars the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will host the Sabers at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
