Service kept a clean sheet against West Anchorage on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in April.

The win made it two in a row for Service and bumps their season record up to 9-4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for West Anchorage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-1 record this season.

Service will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against South Anchorage at 7:30 p.m. South Anchorage's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Service's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for West Anchorage, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 defeat against Chugiak on the 18th.
