Kaylea Coffel was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
