Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Calvary Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Grace Academy Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Grace Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-5, 25-8.

Madie Robinette paced Calvary Christian Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Robinette got some help from Olivia McCumber and her four assists.

Grace Academy was led to victory by Anjali Vemuri and Avani Vemuri. Anjali had seven aces and six digs, while Avani had five aces and three digs. Those seven aces gave Anjali a new career-high.

Calvary Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14-1. As for Grace Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Calvary Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Frederick Christian Academy on the 6th. As for Grace Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Cumberland Valley Christian on the 6th.
