Softball Recap: Christian Heritage Academy Takes a Loss

Christian Heritage Academy came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Varsity Opponent, falling 19-10. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Varsity Opponent this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 25-10 on April 1st.

Aubrey Byrd made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. Chloe Setliff also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Christian Heritage Academy now has a losing record of 2-3.

Christian Heritage Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ridgeview Christian at 3:45 p.m. on the 29th. Varsity Opponent has already played their next game (against Orange), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
