Recap: Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans vs. Northview Titans
The Northview Titans typically have all the answers at home, but on Tuesday the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Titans by a score of 45-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Greater Atlanta Christian also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Greater Atlanta Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Asia Johnson, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Johnson hasn't dropped below two steals for 18 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cobi Obi, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Greater Atlanta Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season. As for Northview, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7.
Greater Atlanta Christian will take on Kell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
