Basketball Recap: Fairhaven Comes Up Short

Fairhaven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Bourne Canalmen, falling 47-19. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-17 back in December of 2024.

Fairhaven's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Bourne, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairhaven will take on Case at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bourne, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against West Bridgewater at 6:30 p.m. Bourne is on a 11-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), West Bridgewater a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
